The Sunday School department is led by Mrs Yvonne Douglas and Miss Belindy Date.
Sunday School at Light and Life Full Gospel Fellowship (LLFGF) is essential to us in presenting the gospel and a major part of our discipleship for all those who are under our care. Classes are held every Sunday for all ages. Our goal is to make everyone who attends Sunday School from the youngest to the oldest a firm believer in Christ and a true lover of God’s word.
All Sunday School Teachers new and existing go through training seminars held by Miss Jenefer whom works closely with all Sunday School Teachers to ensure adequate discipleship and teaching of the word is conducted with the help of God in order to fulfil the mission and vision of the LLFGF family.
Sundays school is open every Sunday from 10:00am – 11:30am.
Summary of Safeguarding Policy
The Light and Life Full Gospel Fellowship takes seriously its responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults entrusted to its care. The Safeguarding Officer is Ms Maxine Benjamin.
As part of our mission we are committed to make the church a safe and secure place of worship by:
Listening to, relating effectively and valuing children, young people and vulnerable adults.Ensuring children/youth worker are given adequate support and training and that they are checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service. Having a system for dealing with concerns about possible abuse responding to allegations of abuse, including those made against leaders or members of the church. Helping victims of abuse and working with offenders.
The church recognises the need to build constructive links with child care agencies; therefore we work closely with Lambeth Safeguarding Board and the Churches Child Protection Advisory Service.
