The LLFGF Food Bank provides a weekly food service on the church premises to those in need within the church and the wider community. The positions within this ministry are leader, assistant and secretary.
The LLFGF Food Bank is for families who have encountered challenging economic times. Our purpose is to serve the community by providing food regardless of the size of the family or religious belief.
The Food Bank ministry has a lot of volunteers who will work into the late-night early mornings who will collect the food and make it ready for our users.
Through the use of the food bank we have seen commitment made to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. The bible tells us of Jesus on the hill side feeding the multitude with 5 loaves and 2 fishes, simply showing that He cared about our well-being.
