The men’s department, known as Gideon’s Army, operates for the spiritual benefit of men, for the co-operation in seeking the souls of the lost, and for the advancement of the work of the church.  Gideon’s Army provides the brethren of the church and male visitors, regular opportunities for worship, fellowship and ministry in the love of God. The men have regular activities throughout the year which include the 4Men2Men annual seminar and monthly fellowship evenings.

The 4Men2Men Seminar – usually occurs in May each year and seeks to address a topic which men of today are generally facing.  The seminar provides a time for men to listen to the various speakers and share their ideas.  We pray that they leave fulfilled and equipped to live a Godly lifestyle.

Monthly Fellowship - this is a regular less formal meeting for men to come and to share fellowship together in a safe and supportive environment.

As leader of the men’s department (Gideon Army) he enjoys the way the brothers work together and fellowship on a regular basis.  His heart’s desire is to see more men surrender their lives to the Lord.

Brother Russell is also a member of the Ushering team.
