The Joshua Generation department is headed by Pastor Dwayne Rowe, Mrs Marcia Brown, Louise Douglas and Miss Shanade Brown. The department provides and arranges a variety of activities which is informative, fun and interesting to their faith and this is either held both in church and away. We will always try to explore youthful ways of engagement to attract different race or culture within our ministry to provide church growth amongst the young people.
We create a welcoming and safe environment providing faith direction and encouraging discussion, and the department helps church youth become believers and active participants without feeling embarrassed or ashamed.
Miss Shanade Brown
Youth Leader & Liturgical Dance Leader
Miss Brown is a creative soul who loves God and His people. LLFGF has been her family from the age of 12.
Favourite scripture John 16: 33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Miss Louise Douglas
Youth Leader of Joshua Generation
Louise Douglas is the Youth Leader of Joshua Generation, she passionate about helping young people to develop within their walk with Christ as well as in their social and educational life.
She enjoys getting to know about the young people’s different gifts and talents by putting on different events within the church and encouraging them to use their gifts in the youth services and having activities outdoors.
A scripture that she believes has helped her with her role and is one of her favourites is 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
She would hope to instil this scripture within the young people’s life by helping them to be fearless in the Lord and getting them to strive to do their best within the community, education and the church.
Miss Marcia Brown
Youth Director of Joshua Generation
My role is to help plan and oversee the program and activities for young children and adolescents, working as part of a team with youth leaders and the youth council to guide and motivate children and young people up to the age of 25 years old through their faith journey.
What I enjoy most about my role is to interact with the youths and to see them growing without fear of who they are in Christ, growing with confidence.
